The drum rollers allow the drum to rotate smoothly, the idler pulley tensions the belt, and the belt connects the drive motor pulley to the drum. Installing this kit may possibly be a repair solution for problems such as: dryer is noisy (rumbling or squealing), drum is not turning, dryer will not start, belt is broken, roller is seized.
